Tao Te Ching - verse 2

under heaven

all can see beauty as beauty, only because there is ugliness
all can know good as good, only because there is evil

being and non being produce each other

the difficult is born in the easy, long is defined by short,
the high by the low, before and after go along with each other

so

the sage lives openly with apparent duality and paradoxical unity
the sage can act without effort and teach without words

nuturing things without possessing them

he works, but not for rewards, he competes but not for results

when the work is done it is forgotten, that is why it lasts for ever.

  1. under heaven here in normal reality things, especially the 10,000 things are relative, as are my experiences, especially when I am a-sleep rather than a-ware in the now

    going with the flow, on the path of least resistance is about letting go, being present while allowing intention to unfold and the emergent reality to be - nice idea being - but how am I really?

    Learning is changing ones behaviour or is it more be - hav - i - our: e-merging and merging - with the way, not in the way, but of the Way

    reality - IS & is real-it-y

    the paradox is the living yin yang is a true
    ------->
    <------
    dynamic equilibrium, not like the apparent up/down, the not rising or setting sun, but a turning earth, the wind not blowing, but air moving (being sucked) to areas of low pressure, the on / off, 1/0 of the dynamic state
    H20
    <--
    -->
    2H+ and OH-

    I watch, feel, see and sense this dynamic as when I laugh long and deep enough I can end up crying, or when I cry long and deep enough I can end up laughing with SELF and at and with my self, lightened and lighted up, with the know-ing I am and that nothing matters much and that everything comes from no-thing and nothing matter (lots) nothing is the source.

    I am, I know Self-IS-h

    With, within centred, watching in stillness, silently, at the hub of the wheel of life, not strapped on the rim as it relentlessly cycles, and crushes together the terra firma earth and my physical being initiating the inevitable trials and tests, which can be observed and watched im-passive-ly and once I am, a-ware and a-ware - under heaven
